  • How do I register?

    Click on the Register Now button on the Home Page. If you see a Countdown to Registration instead, we have not opened registration yet.  Please check back on or after the date noted in the countdown. 

    Online registration is preferred, but please contact  if you cannot register online. 

  • What does it cost to play?

  • Registration fees are as follows:

10U Boys/Girls - $115

12U Boys/12U Girls - $130

14U Boys/14U Girls - $175

16U (JV) Boys/Girls - $250

19U (Varsity) Boys/Girls - $250

                           ** There is a $350 cap per family.


  • ALL players are required to have a US Lacrosse Membership valid through the end of the season. The fee is $25 for an annual membership. This is not included in the above registration fee. This includes player insurance coverage, free issues of Lacrosse Magazine and discounts at the USL store.  Please obtain your membership before or during the online registration process.
  • Financial aid for registration fees is available. Please contact registration@blackhillslacrosse.com with questions. 
  • Each player is also required to have the proper equipment. View the "Required Equipment" link under "Coaches Corner" from the main web page. Equipment can be purchased by players or borrowed from BHLA. See below for more information on Equipment. 
  • Where do I get the equipment?

    All BHLA owned equipment will be distributed on a first come first served basis to those players in their first two years of play. Once we receive your registration and payment, you will be contacted regarding equipment. This equipment is loaned to players at $50 non-refundable fee plus a $150 refundable deposit.  If you have questions about equipment prior to registering, please email us at


  • How often are practices and games?

    Practices are typically held 2 days each week for players in 10U or below.  For players 12U and above, practices will be 3 to 4 days each week. 

    Games/Scrimmages will be held every Saturday at Star of the West fields.  All players are asked to be at the field 30 minutes before game time for warm up. 

  • Will players be required to travel?

    Starting this season Black Hills Lacrosse will be apart of a new lacrosse league called Northern Plains Lacrosse League.  There will be some travel for 10U/12U and required travel for 14U through High School teams. 

  • Where does the team play/practice?

    Starting in 2017 we will use the Star of the West lower fields for games and practice fields.
